Kenny Chesney has just announced that he will be ending his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour in a huge way. For the first time in his career, the eight-time Entertainer of the Year will be playing three back-to-back stadium shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass, a venue he has played to well over a million people.

“If No Shoes Nation, the most passionate people in the world, aren’t 100% in, I want to meet them where they are. Well, they’ve spoken pretty loudly, so here we go, Gillette! Here’s to three nights in a row… What a way to close out what’s going to be a crazy, intense year of music, friends, memories and playing all night long.”

This news comes just one week after Chesney announced the headlining trek, presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum. He was originally scheduled to play only one night in Gillette Stadium, but when the first round of tickets sold in an hour, a second date was added. When fans once again had to act fast in order to be able to get their hands on a pair of tickets, the decision was made to add a third show, allowing for an entire weekend of No Shoes Nation fun.

“Here I only put one show up, thinking maybe this was the year,” Chesney said with a laugh. “Now here we are doing something we’ve never done: a third show at the home of the Patriots! There has always been something special about New England, this music and how we all come together. I can’t wait to spend an entire weekend in one place with all of No Shoes Nation.”

The presale for official fan club members for the August 25 show begins tomorrow, November 15, at 10 am local. Fans can check their NSN account for the code. Public on sale for all dates is Friday, November 17 at 10 am local.

Kenny Chesney Returns To Stadiums Beginning This April

After spending this past spring and early summer celebrating his catalog of music by performing in arenas across the country on his I Go Back 2023 Tour, Kenny Chesney is ready to make his return to stadiums. The only country artist to be on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years for the past 14 years will be hitting the road beginning April 20, 2024, at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

The upcoming trek is named after Chesney’s multiple-week No. 1, “When the Sun Goes Down,” which also appears as the title of his eighth studio album of 2004.

“I wanted a name that suggested – obviously – when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going,” Chesney says of his 2024 tour name. “But we all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves.”

The warm weather anthem was originally recorded with fellow country singer/songwriter Uncle Kracker, who has been tapped to join Chesney as a special guest on his next tour alongside breakout star Megan Moroney and multiple GRAMMY-winning Zac Brown Band. According to a recent press release regarding the trek, there are a few other major surprises in store as well.
